Rainwater Harvesting
CGWA-compliant harvesting and recharge — turn rooftops into water security.
Design and construction of rooftop harvesting and groundwater recharge systems — CGWA-compliant water security for campuses, plants, and institutions.
Water stress is now a compliance issue as much as an environmental one: CGWA NOCs, state bye-laws, and industrial consents increasingly require demonstrable rainwater harvesting. We design and build systems that satisfy the regulator and actually work — sized to your catchment, soil, and demand.
Interestingly, our engineering pedigree here is literal: our delivered railway work includes a rainwater leakage testing plant for Indian Railways. We bring that same testing-grade discipline to filters, recharge structures, and storage that must perform monsoon after monsoon.
What we deliver
- Rooftop Harvesting Systems — catchment assessment, first-flush arrangements, filtration, and storage design-build.
- Groundwater Recharge — recharge pits, trenches, and shafts engineered to soil and aquifer conditions.
- CGWA / Bye-Law Compliance — documentation and system design aligned to NOC and municipal requirements.
- Storage & Reuse Integration — storage sizing and plumbing integration for flushing, gardening, and process reuse.
- Metering & Monitoring — measurement points so harvested volumes can be evidenced, not estimated.
- O&M / AMC — pre-monsoon servicing, filter media care, and desilting under annual contract.
How we work
- Catchment & Demand Study — Roof/paved catchment measurement, rainfall data, soil percolation, and your reuse demand define the system.
- Engineering & Compliance Design — Hydraulic sizing, structure drawings, and the documentation your CGWA/municipal file needs.
- Construction & Commissioning — Civil and plumbing execution with quality checks, commissioned before the monsoon where possible.
- Handover & Seasonal Care — As-builts, maintenance guidance, and optional AMC for pre-monsoon readiness every year.
Outcomes
- Compliance Evidence — Systems and documents that stand up to CGWA and municipal scrutiny.
- Real Water Savings — Harvested and recharged volumes you can meter and report.
- Monsoon-Proof Build — Structures engineered for silt, overflow, and Indian rainfall intensity.
- Year-After-Year Performance — AMC option keeps filters and recharge structures effective long-term.
Standards & compliance
- CGWA Guidelines
- State RWH Bye-Laws
- CPCB Consent Support
- IS Plumbing Codes
- Metered Verification
Frequently asked questions
Is rainwater harvesting mandatory for us?
For many building categories and industrial consents it now is — requirements vary by state bye-law and CGWA jurisdiction. We assess your obligation as the first step and design to satisfy it.
How much water can we realistically capture?
It depends on catchment area and local rainfall — we calculate it from your roof/paved area and rainfall data during the study, and design storage/recharge to match.
Do these systems need maintenance?
Yes — first-flush units, filters, and recharge structures need pre-monsoon servicing. Our AMC covers cleaning, media care, and desilting so performance does not decay.
